Optilite®

Optilite®

Proven analyser for diagnostics of specific proteins

About analyser

To provide the best laboratory services to clinics, specialized proteomic testing requires consistently high quality results in short, predictable turnaround times. The modern Optilite® system features fully automated wide-range dilutions, as well as flexible, programmable, intuitive access to samples and reagents, providing a simplified workflow for the entire laboratory. Optilite® is ideal for highly specialized laboratories as well as for small clinical units. Using proven Optilite® turbidimetric technology with high-quality Binding Site proteomic tests gives you the freedom to allocate time and resources of your laboratory in the most efficient way.

The menu of tests available on Optilite® system includes a broad panel of proteins, including the unique Freelite® and Hevylite® tests commonly used for the diagnosis of monoclonal gammopathy and uniquely indicated for use in international diagnostic guidelines for multiple myeloma, as well as a number of markers of immune system activation, kidney function, blood-brain barrier, and diagnosis of anemia. All tests were created and adapted for the Optilite® system, which ensures their accuracy.

Key features and benefits of Optilite®:

  • Broad measurement ranges: Wide, clinically relevant measurement ranges with large dilution steps reduce the number of tests required to obtain a final result, saving working time, reagent and resources.
  • Improved antigen excess protection: Reagent antigen excess capacities have been defined with clinically relevant samples and combined with Optilite’s on-board antigen excess checks to ensure confidence in results.
  • Calibration according to the latest international standards: ensures accurate and reliable results.
  • Ready-to-use reagents: Where possible our reagents are liquid and ready to use, reducing hands-on-time in the laboratory, improving throughput and efficiency.
  • Long service life of reagents: long-term stability of reagents in an open bottle and a built-in cooling system in the device
  • Start testing earlier: daily startup of the device takes less than 10 minutes
  • Improve time to end result with consistent throughput and long device life
